A 43-year-old from Eferding was riding his light motorcycle on the B 132 towards Feldkirchen shortly after 7 p.m. on Sunday. A 37-year-old from Feldkirchen was sitting on the passenger seat. In the municipality of Bad Mühllacken, the driver lost control of his vehicle, fell, continued to slide across the road and hit a crash barrier.
The 37-year-old was also thrown against the guardrail. Tragically, despite attempts at resuscitation by the emergency physician, both men suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene of the accident.
