This morning comes Spain’s first grand final in the U20 World Cup against Canada in the round of 16 duel.
But there is another Spanish representative going on in the World Cup event. Colombia. This is the Spanish referee Marta Huerta de Aza which is designated for another duels in this round of 16. It’s about meeting in between Colombia and South Korea where he will be accompanied by two Spanish assistants from the First Division, Guadalupe Porras and Eliana Fernández.

Thus Martin delayed his return to Spanish competition where he debuted on August 18 as the first referee in the Second Division. It is designated for Burgos-Cartagena.
As we have already said in MDthis is the second consecutive world championship in the category it is participating in Guadalupe Porras both after their presence two years ago in Costa Rica. They were also both at the World Cup last summer Australia and New Zealand and the 2022 Euro Cup in England. In Marta’s case, she is the first Spaniard to be appointed to a World Cup. Additionally, in the summer of 2023 she was at the Women’s Euro Cup where she participated in four matches.
