Three last minute failures separated Tony Bou (Repsol Honda Team) victory on the first day of competition TrialGP World Championship which is disputed in Andorra.
The driver who is a resident of the Principality and current world champion, who has already won the second round of this season at the Hospitalet del Infante, has made three defeats that they gave the victory to Adam Raga (TRRS) in San Julián de Loria.
ragswho was fifth and third in the first round of the World Championship, removed the thorn and regained the lost ground with 39 points, on a day with many parts of the water that added difficulty to the pilots.
The 40-year-old Catalan rider is looking to break Toni Bou’s impressive streak with 15 consecutive titles out.
Toni Bou was second with 48 points and third position went to Jeroni Fajardo (Sherco) with 61 points.
In the female category, success went to Berta Abellan (Scorpa), who beat Britain Bristow (Sherco) by one point. Third is French Naomi Monnier (GasGas).
This Friday round 4 of the TrialGP World Championship will take place.
