Arrested for trafficking 700,000 euros of cannabis!

The 33-year-old striker has been charged with drug trafficking and will testify this Thursday in Carlisle courts.

On September 2, the National Crime Agency (NCA) arrested two women traveling to Stansted, from Bangkok, with two suitcases containing 60 kilograms of cannabis.

The NCA this year warned travelers from Thailand, Canada and the United States that they could face prison sentences if they trafficked in cannabis. The agency reported that three times more cannabis was seized this year than in 2023. The maximum penalty for trafficking cannabis in the United Kingdom is 14 years in prison.
