Cerdanyola missed a golden chance to win, as in extra time Castillo kicked away Vitalie’s self-inflicted penalty.

Both teams were looking for three points. The first opportunities soon came. A shot by Pol Ballesteros did not create any problems for Víctor López. Immediately after, on a cross from Èric Ruiz, Javi López’s volley shot was blocked by Adrià Aliaga.

The opening goal came soon enough. Sergio Ayala opened up the left wing to Víctor Álvarez who placed the ball in the penalty spot where Joel Lasso hooked it into the back of the net.

As the minutes passed, the Vallesans of Sanu Álvarez advanced on the lines and before the break, Youssef, after a breakaway, crossed the crossbar far from the domain of Adrià Aliaga.

At the start, Cerdanyola tried to control, but ‘Hospi’ did not give up and goalkeeper Víctor López had a difficult job with the actions of Pol Ballesteros, Víctor Álvarez, Sehou and Sanku

Unexpectedly, La Montañesa managed to add the first three points of the season by beating a Badalona team that had been left scoreless in two consecutive trips.

Badalona started well. Ot Serrano tried, but his shot almost missed. Álvaro Vázquez saw his long-range shot hit the crossbar. La Montañesa leveled the contest, even without creating scoring chances.

Once again, Gerard Albadalejo’s team were back in the fight and a shot by Gerard Barri, from outside the area, led to the brilliance of Èric Fernández. Toni Larrosa sent the ball over the crossbar and Fassani was unable to capitalize on the rebound.

After the restart, the visiting team continued to take the initiative, but, as time ran out, they lost steam and the game entered a phase of boredom. In injury time came the cold water, as young Ibe successfully finished off a corner kick.
