Unexpectedly, La Montañesa managed to add the first three points of the season by beating a Badalona team that had been left scoreless in two consecutive trips.
Badalona started well. Ot Serrano tried, but his shot almost missed. Álvaro Vázquez saw his long-range shot hit the crossbar. La Montañesa leveled the contest, even without creating scoring chances.
Once again, Gerard Albadalejo’s team were back in the fight and a shot by Gerard Barri, from outside the area, led to the brilliance of Èric Fernández. Toni Larrosa sent the ball over the crossbar and Fassani was unable to capitalize on the rebound.
