Ferguson, CRI junior world champion, Ostiz finished seventh

The British Ferguson cat was proclaimed junior world champion in the individual time trial by winning the test held in Zurich (Switzerland), on an 18 km route where the Spaniards Paula Ostiz then seventh.

Ferguson completed the mostly flat course in 23 minutes and 49 seconds, at an average of 47.338 km/hour.

The British woman was joined on the podium by Slovak Viktoria Chladonova, silver, and her compatriot Imogen Wolff, bronze.

Navarrese Ostiz, European champion two weeks ago in Limburg (Belgium), was among the first, but in the end he was seventh, 1.03 behind the new ‘rainbow’.
