A production in Denmark would enable Ukrainian companies to make production much safer before Russian attacks. If Russia attacks locations in Denmark, Moscow would take the risk of NATO opposite.
There are still legal obstacles
According to Poulsen, political discussions are necessary because it is currently not legally possible for Ukrainian arms companies to move their production to other European countries. New legislation must be established in Ukraine for this, he said.
During a press conference, Poulsen also commented on the Danish EU Presidential. It is under the motto “a strong Europe in a changing world” and is intended to focus in particular on safety issues and the competitiveness of the EU.
