The USA got the final three points of the day when the pairing of Collin Morikawa and Sam Burns was enough on the 18th hole, earning them a 1-up win over the Canadian pairing of Mackenzie Hughes and Corey Conners, followed by victories from Scottie Scheffler / Russell Henley and Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele.
Australian Adam Scott and Canadian Taylor Pendrith bounced back from a rough morning session to beat Brian Harmon and Max Homa by 2 points and score the first point of the afternoon session.
Cantlay and Schauffele won 1 against South Koreans Si Woo Kim and Tom Kim.
Saturday’s game was delayed for one hour and 37 minutes due to weather.
