In a statement, the institution that governs European football indicated that 720,000 tickets will be sold before the start of the tournament.
There are 120,000 reserved for fans of the 16 teams that will play in the tournament, among them world champion Spain, the defender of the European title (England) or Germany, the great continental dominator who has won eight of the 13 editions played so far.
The draw for the Euro Cup groups will be held on December 16 in Lausanne (Switzerland) and Spain, Germany, France and Switzerland will start as seeded teams.
