Alvaro Moratain front of Milanrevealed this Thursday that he had to move house after the mayor of Corbett (northern Italy) revealed on social networks that the European champion is closing his transfer to that town outside of Milan.
Marco Ballarini, mayor of Corbetta, a municipality located about 30 kilometers from Milan, likes to be proud of the fact that a footballer as tall as Morata has moved to town. However, his announcement on social networks provoked the anger of the Spaniard, who declared that he could not live there because of the lack of privacy and to ensure the protection of his children.
“The champion is one of our new compatriots. The Milan striker is completing the procedures for moving to his new (wonderful) home in our city,” the councilor announced on his Instagram account. For more controversy, the mayor commented on the statement itself that he was an Inter fan. “I am a great Inter fan, but I am delighted to welcome Álvaro Morata to our great Corbetta family!”

Morata did not miss the announcement and called the president “incapable”. “Dear mayor, thank you for violating my privacy. Fortunately I have nothing, the only treasure is my children whose safety you disturbed,” the player wrote on Instagram. “I thought the municipality of Corbetta would guarantee me some privacy, but instead I was forced to move home immediately because of their inability to use social media and protect their citizens,” he added.
