The injured Dani Carvajal, Rodrigo Hernández ‘Rodri’ and Robin Le Normand visited the Spanish internationals on Thursday at the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas and gave Luis de la Fuente’s team a boost for the two matches the Spanish will play team against Denmark and Serbia, corresponding to the League of Nations.
Two events in which the ‘Red’ cannot count on Carvajal, Rodri or Le Normand, three of the pillars of the Spanish team that was declared champion of the Euro Cup in Germany last summer.
Carvajal, who came to Ciudad del Fútbol on crutches, tore the anterior cruciate ligament on Saturday, as well as tearing the external collateral ligament and tearing the popliteal tendon in his right leg in the league match between Real Madrid and Villarreal.
Manchester City midfielder Rodrigo Hernández ‘Rodri’ also had to spend several months on the sidelines, who like Carvajal also arrived on crutches, after suffering ligament damage in his right knee.
“This reception speaks about the team we have created and the appreciation they have for us. You never know when these things can happen to you, it is part of football and life and I always there is a philosophy of moving forward in everything, of being optimistic and try to take the positive side and come back stronger,” commented Rodri.

For his part, central defender Robin Le Normand missed Luis de la Fuente’s call-up list for the Denmark and Serbia matches after suffering a head injury with a subdural hematoma in the match between Atlético de Madrid and Real Madrid last September 29.
The Spanish team, current champions of the Nations League, will face Denmark next Saturday, October 12, in Murcia; and three days later, on Tuesday, October 15, with Serbia, in Córdoba
