The candidates for a post of ordinary member of the FIFA Council for a term of four years are the Portuguese Fernando Gomes and the French Noël Le Graët; and for the position of ordinary member of the FIFA Council (year of two years), only the German Bernd Neuendorf will apply.
“UEFA will send to FIFA the complete eligibility questionnaires for all candidates, so that the FIFA Evaluation Committee can carry out the appropriate evaluations of eligibility,” the Ceferin-led organization added to the aforementioned that statement.
“Finally, the deadline for the presentation of candidates for the positions of the UEFA Executive Committee (eight members to be elected for a four-year term and one member to be elected for a two-year term at the UEFA Congress in Lisbon), it is on Sunday, February 5, 2023,” he concluded.
