The Baltimore Ravens defeated the Washington Commanders 30-23 this Sunday and the Green Bay Packers defeated the Arizona Cardinals 34-13 in week 6 of the 2024 NFL season, the professional American football league.
The Ravens snapped the Commanders’ four-game winning streak thanks to a great performance by Derrick Henry, who had 132 yards and two touchdowns rushing. Their star quarterback Lamar Jackson had 323 yards and one pass in the end zone.
Baltimore now has a record of four wins and two losses at the top of the American Conference (AFC) North division.. The Commanders, with the same record (4-2), remain atop the National Conference (NFC) East.
In their game, Green Bay shined in their 34-13 victory over the Cardinals thanks to an impressive Jordan Love, their quarterback, who accumulated 258 yards and connected on four touchdown passes, two of them to Romeo Doubs.
Green Bay, with a 4-2 record, finished third in the NFC North. Arizona, 2-4, remains in third place in the NFC West.
In New Orleans, in an explosive rivalry with several turns on the scoreboard in the first half, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers ended up falling to the Saints 27-51, without injured Derek Carr, their starting quarterback.
With the Bucs, who are first in the NFC South at 4-2, Baker Mayfield had four touchdown passes.
For the Saints, Chris Olave, a receiver of Cuban descent, left the game with a concussion he suffered after a tackle caused him to lose the ball in the first quarter.
In another game, the Houston Texans entered Gillette Stadium to defeat the local New England Patriots 41-21, supported by the great performance of CJ Stroud, who connected on three touchdown passes.
The Texans lead the AFC South with a 5-1 record. The Pats are last in the AL East at 1-5.
