Pecco Bagnaia, ready for the final stage of the World Cup: “We will give everything”

Date:

This Wednesday the Italian Francesco ‘Pecco’ Bagnaia (Ducati Desmosedici GP24) recognized the importance of the three races they must face soon, including the events in Australia, Thailand and Malaysia, in the fight for the world title.

“I am happy to race again in Australia because this race opens the last triple of grand prix of the season before the grand finale in Valencia, so it will be very important,” said Bagnaia in the Ducati team’s press release.

“There’s very little left in the grand prix and it’s really important to achieve the maximum without making mistakes and in Motegi we worked really well, but it’s also true that it’s a track that suits my driving style very well, and The Phillip Island is very fast where I always compete, but it is also very particular and the grip of the asphalt and the weather conditions always play an important role,” commented the Italian double MotoGP world champion.

“Anyway we are almost ready and we will give everything to be fast from the start,” he added.

For Enea Bastianini, his colleague, “the race at Phillip Island is always amazing”, because “the layout of the track is very good and very fast”.

“Last year, with the strong winds, we had to do the race on Saturday and cancel the Sprint, which was moved to Sunday, so I can’t wait to tackle the whole weekend in Australia and so far we are fast and competitive in almost all tracks, so I also hope to get a good start here and achieve a good result,” he said.
