Valladolid’s new coach, the Argentine Diego Cocca, pointed out that Friday’s 3-0 defeat against Girona in Montilivi was “a reflection of the truth” and that the fight to maintain the category, his “made -single goal”, is to be “harder and harder.
Cocca emphasized that at times the team played a “good game” and “solid” and was able to “reach the goal”, but he regretted that the scoreboard was opened after 35 minutes “due to a mistake” and there us to “work” for the “mental drop” associated with each goal.
“You have to prepare your head and not stop fighting until the end,” stressed the Argentine coach after saying that this will be the “key” not to give up in a bad moment.
Cocca also said that Girona is a team with “many variants” and “more than two years of work” and Valladolid, a team with “two days of training”.
