First round by Viñales

History repeats itself. The lack of power in the early stages of the race caused Maverick to ‘destroy’ the front row he had achieved in practice… Viñales crossed the finish line on the first lap, sixth. With a legion of Ducatis ahead, his career was doomed.

Bagnaia’s lack of competitiveness

The Viñales/Bezzecchi accident

Beginning of lap 12. After several failed attempts, Viñales passed Bezzecchi on the straight to finish fifth. When braking at the end of the straight, the Italian, on Maverick’s wheel, loses aerodynamic load, which leads him to lock the front wheel when braking. He lost control of the motorcycle and hit the rear wheel of Viñales’ Aprilia at a speed of 245 km/h. Fortunately, despite the magnitude of the accident, both pilots suffered no physical consequences.
