Wilshere left Arsenal and changed teams

Jack Wilshere, The former Arsenal player, left the Gunners’ youth ranks, where he held coaching duties, to join Norwich City.

In the ‘canaries’, a Championship team (English second division), he will work as a first team assistant with the coach, Johannes Hoff Thorup.

He made history at Arsenal as a player

Wilshere, 32, played 197 games between 2008 and 2018 for Arsenal, where he won two FA Cups and became the youngest Premier League debutant in the club’s history, at the age of 16. In addition, he played 34 matches for England.

After leaving Arsenal, he spent time at West Ham United, Bournemouth and Danish side AGF before retiring in 2022, the year he joined the Arsenal academy as coach of the under-18 team.

“I feel like I’ve learned a lot during my career at Arsenal and I’ll always be grateful for that experience. Now I’m looking forward to working with this coaching staff and these players,” Wilshere said.
