Rafael Nadal trained this Friday at Wimbledonin conjunction with the draw for the main draw that paired him with Argentine Francisco Cerúndolo.
The Spaniard jumped at Aorangi Park at 10:30, to work out with American Frances Tiafoe, half an hour later a few meters from the training tracks put him a chance in a difficult draw with Matteo Berrettini and Stefanos Tsitsipas, which could be measured in the semifinals.
Nadal trained halfway today there and then moved to court 8 of the tournament, which will begin to be used for the official competition on Monday. Accompanied by his team and with Tiafoe on the other side of the net, the man from Manacor spent another hour, mostly devoted to a training match.
There, Tiafoe, who had just beaten Carlos Alcaraz in Hurlingham, got the win 6-1 and 4-2, when they had to stop for Petra Matric and Sorana Cirstea to enter the court.
Nadal will try this Friday in his second exhibition match on Hurlingham against the canadian Felix Auger-Aliassimewhere it can be measured in the Wimbledon quarters.
