He PSG has officially inaugurated the sports city this Thursday, the Paris Saint-Germain Campuslocated at Poissya town located west of Pariswhere it will focus all the activities of its professionals and training teams.
The complex, located 25 minutes from Princes Parkextends over 59 hectares of land and includes 150,000 square meters of outdoor space as well as indoor facilities of all kinds.
The project was designed to centralize the club’s sporting activities and house both training teams and the men’s and women’s professional squads.
“For the first time, all teams in PSG will share a space, which will foster unity and progress within the club,” the club said in a statement.
Its facilities include three exclusive training fields for the men’s first team, another for the women’s team, six training fields, a stadium with a capacity for 500 spectators, a therapeutic pool and a balneotherapy area.
The complex also has classrooms, an amphitheater with 230 seats, a restaurant, study and recreation rooms, as well as 131 rooms for young players on an indoor basis and 43 for professional team.
“The economic impact of the new campus in the Paris region is estimated at 243 million euros for the 2023-2024 season,” according to Center for Sports Law and Economics (CDES).
The facility, whose investment is close to 300 million euros, is financed by the club
Furthermore, the PSG has announced its commitment to building a positive impact on society through the program ‘PSG For Communities’, which aims to allocate funds and develop initiatives to support disadvantaged youth.
