For the last two seasons, Red Bull has ruled the Formula 1 World Championship with an iron fistboth in Pilots and in Builders.
Led by Max Verstappen and Checo Pérez, the Austrian team found no rival on the track, took over from Mercedes, winner for the previous eight years.
One that hasn’t won the crown in 16 years is Ferrari, whose last title came in 2008when Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe Massa took the Italian squad to the top, something that will finally be repeated this season.
And Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc are in position to attack McLaren’s lead. They are 36 points behind the British team, and the prospects in Las Vegas are really good due to better tire wear and their high race speed.
Sainz will start second and Leclerc fourthwhile for McLaren Lando Norris will start in sixth place and Oscar Piastri from eighth.
Things look worse for Red Bull, third in the championship 49 points behind Mercedes and that will see Max Verstappen come out in fifth and Checo Pérez in 16th.
