The technology giant Amazon has invested another four billion dollars (3.8 billion euros) in the AI startup Anthropic. Anthropic said Amazon would become its primary training partner for AI applications.
Amazon and other tech companies such as Microsoft and Google are competing to offer artificial intelligence (AI) applications to their customers and are pumping large sums of money into AI companies.
ChatGPT developer OpenAI received $6.6 billion from investors last month alone and is now one of the most valuable private companies in the world with an estimated $157 billion.
Founded by two former OpenAI executives, Anthropic has already received $4 billion from Amazon in previous funding and also counts Google among its investors.
