He Villarreal CF has announced that it will donate two million euros to the ‘Alcem-se Esport’ project, which aims to help clubs affected by the disaster of DANA which destroyed the province of Valencia. This project consists of an aid plan for sports clubs affected by DANA, and is promoted through the sports patronage plan of Juan Roig, sent through the Trinidad Alfonso Foundation and Valencia Basket Club.
The contribution made by Villarreal will be used to rebuild football fields in the towns of Valencia hit by DANA, in an ambitious project to recover these facilities. This project, led by Juan Roig, was created with the idea of trying to recover the sports facilities that were destroyed after the flood and to do it as soon as possible.
The goal is to rebuild and recover these facilities, a complex job, because today more than 350 sports clubs are affected. This project has a budget of 4 million euros, of which Villarreal contributes 2 million euros.
