Real Sociedad U21 beat Southampton 3-4 yesterday in the last match of the Premier League International Cup, in England. They were eliminated from the tournament in their first participation but they said goodbye with joy, with the first victory in the competition despite having the lowest level and name team so far, with a lot of youth. The combination of Oscar Fernandez won the goals from Pablo Arenzana, Gorka Gorosabel, Carrera and Unax Agote.
They are currently fourth (out of eight) in group D, with four points, but there are several games left to play and only two teams have qualified for the quarterfinals. La Real drew 2-2 against Crystal Palace, lost 1-0 against Brighton and 2-1 against Chelsea and now they won 3-4 against Southampton.
