The UCI announced the teams for 2025: only Movistar as Spanish in the World Tour

The International Cycling Union (UCI) have announced the names of 57 professional teams are registered for the 2025 seasonwhere it appears as a novelty, and in the women’s section, the formations of the UCI Women’s ProTeams, establishing a two-division structure similar to that of the men’s teams.

Included in the equipment list Movistar as a representative in the highest category of the World Tour, both in men and women.

In the Pro Team sector, second division, there is Laboral Kutxa – Fundación Euskadi in women and 4 teams in men: Burgos BH, Caja Rural Seguros RGA, Kern Pharma and Euskaltel Eukadi.

The 2025 season will be the last of the current licensing cycle for the men’s and women’s teams. At the end of the cycle, all UCI Women’s WorldTour and UCI WorldTour licenses will be reallocated for the 2026-2028 season.
