The Rafa Nadal Academyholding hands in Maribel Nadal, Rafa Nadal’s brother and deputy director of the academy, presented the former tennis player from Manacor with a trophy with the word ‘thank you’ in capital letters in gratitude for the legacy left by his sporting career.
The recognition includes all the titles Nadal has won, in addition to various milestones such as more than 1,000 individual victories, the number of tournaments he has won or the historic streaks he has achieved in his career.
After collecting the trophy with ’92’ indicating the number of victories he has achieved over the years on the ATP Tour at the traditional Christmas dinner at the Rafa Nafal Academy, the tennis player thanked the academy workers on Friday in his dedication, making it clear that, for him, 2024 is a very special year.
Rafa Nadal ended his career this season, ending an award-winning career that spanned more than 20 years at the highest professional level and in which he won a total of 92 titles at the professional level.
