The masters at the Dutch circuit Zandvoort got their first victory of the year. Costa celebrated his success after competing in a “complex” race on Saturday, where he finished twelfth. With this victory, the Lamborghini #63 is in fourth position in the German championship.
The Lamborghini Huracan number 63 started from first position after its teammate, Englishman Jack Aitken, took the pole position. Costa maintained his position in the second stint, controlling the car on a track in difficult conditions that resulted in multiple holes.
It was the first victory of the year for Costa and the #63 Lamborghini, after it touched on 1,000 kilometers by Paul Ricard. “I feel very happy especially after losing the
last minute podium in the last race ”.
On Saturday, in the first race, Costa and Aitken finished in twelfth position. The #63 Lamborghini started in the fourteenth after losing pole position due to a car crash. Initially, Costa climbed back to fifth position, but a penalty ended them in twelfth.
