Since 2021, Vinicius Junior and Pablo Maffeo have been starring in one of the hottest individual confrontations in the Spanish League, a rivalry that has gone viral as a result of the attacks and provocations they have given each other in almost every Real Madrid -Majorca.
The Spanish full-back, a big boxing fan, joked in a YouTube interview about the possibility of fighting Vinicius and has no doubt what the outcome will be. “This might be the most watched fight in history. I have no doubt that I will win. I will knock him out in 10 seconds,” Maffeo ironically laughs.
The Mallorca full-back explained what his strategy was to stop the Brazilian. “Put on him to see if I can take him out of the game. The punch stays on the field, but I like it,” added Maffeo, who also spoke about Mbappé.
“He will be better at Madrid than at PSG. He obviously needs his adaptation process, he is human. He changed Paris for Madrid, the language, the players, the culture… He needs a process, there is very few people adapt quickly, and more so in Madrid, which I think will be better,” he said.
