Date:

Fred Ridley, President of Augusta National Golf Club and the Masters Tournamentannounced this Wednesday that the Dane Nicolai Hojgaard and the Chilean Joaquin Niemann accept invitations to play on Masters by 2025.

“In support of Augusta National’s efforts to generate interest in golf around the world, throughout the history of the Tournament, international players of merit who have not qualified have been invited. “The tradition continues by welcoming Nicolai and Joaquin back to the Masters, as both players have proven their talent competing around the world,” said Riley.

Højgaard, 23, is preparing for his second Masters appearance after his debut in 2024. He is tied for 16th and currently 60th in the World Rankings. Nicolai’s twin brother, Rasmuswill debut at the Masters (April 10-13), marking the first time the twins have met in a tournament.
