At forty years old, Kipchoge has thirteen wins in the majors. Five of them have made it to Berlin, four to London, one to Tokyo, one to Chicago and two to the Olympic Games.
“Eliud Kipchoge is the best marathon runner ever,” said the chief executive of the London Marathon, Hugh Brasher. “In fact, a compelling argument can be made that his incredible dominance of the marathon race over a long period of time makes him the greatest athlete we have ever seen,” he said.
