The Spanish women’s cycling team will premiere this season on Garden Hotels-Luxcom Challenge Cyclist Mallorcathe first event of the professional road calendar on European soil.
The national team will compete in Mallorca with Mavi García as one of the local stars and one of its figuresas he achieved third position in the Palma Trophy and sixth in the Binissalem-Andratx Trophy last year.
García will be accompanied to the island of Mireia Benito, Ainara Albert, Marina Garau, Susanna Perez, Ingrid Ruiz and Alicia Gonzalezall of them directed by Gema Pascual after his renewal as coach.
The Challenge begins with the Marratxí-Felanitx Trophy this Saturday and will continue to dispute the Palma Trophy and Binissalem-Andratx Trophy as the closure of the women’s edition of a cycling event that will last the men’s events until February 2.
