The Atletico Madrid Women has the honor of being counted in its rankings which may have been Africa’s best player last year. Rasheedat Ajibade is included in the list of candidates for the award for Best Player of the Year at the CAF Awards 2022an award recognizing the best players on the African continent throughout the year.
So far, the forward of the rojiblanco team has entered the list of 30 players who are now candidates for this recognition. An award for a 22 -year -old player who has scored 10 goals this season.
The Nigerian arrived in January 2021 at the club from Avaldsnes IL ng Norway. A year later, he signed his contract extension until 2025, becoming one of the future stars of the rojiblanco team for the coming seasons.
