A soccer player from a third division English club was punished this Thursday to 14 months in prison for the death of a cyclist three years ago, according to West Yorkshire County police.
Lucas Akins, Mansfield Striker, from League One, was driving a Mercedes when he ran to the cyclist Adrian Daniel, 33 years old, at an intersection near Huddersfield on March 17, 2022. Daniel died 10 days after the accident.
