Javier MascheranoCoach of Inter MiamiHe acknowledged that the team was going through a “very negative” dynamic, aggravated this week by winning a local condition against Orlando City 0-3. “The team lost confidence, we went down to an individual and collective level. And it was clear that in some way or others we tested on different systems, with different names now worth it to us,” he said at a press conference.
Mascherano avoided charging referees and insisted on mistakes that cost his team very expensive. “The fact is that beyond the playing is controversial because there is a pass back, nothing: we fall back to the same mistakes that cost us the game,” the coach said.
“Obviously the person who manages me. I said this (…). We can’t afford the mistakes we have. It is clearly recognized but it is not used that I come to make this story because it continues to happen. In many of these things we have failed as a coaching staff and we need to try to find the return so as not to continue failing and so the team begins to have results,” he added.
