The Damm Soccer Club reinforces its commitment to developing a young talent to launch Damm Football Academy

Do you know what Laliga’s stars are like Marc Casadó or Joan García? Of course, his talent. But there are others: they all trained in a very special club: the CF damm. And its success story is a story that is repeated. For more than seven decades, this quarry of Catalan has been Spain’s football numbers. In it, players with a very well -known style are caught, with great ball treatment as the opponent and the offensive and affiliated game with their DNA.

CF Damm is built on these people of another sport model, where all efforts are focused on base football. To that extent that the club does not have a professional team and the highest category in which competing is Youth A. And now, the Barcelona Club takes another step and has decided to expand its model beyond the institution itself in the launch of the Damm Football Academy, with the aim of moving its work beyond the creature itself. With that purpose, the newly released Beer Club facilities at Montjuïc Mountain in Barcelona will be the stage of the CF Damm Campus, a space where girls and boys born between 2010 and 2018 will live with experience of training as performed players: with professional techniques and sessions direct Demand and fun.

For three weeks participants will live in the day -to -day experience of club players and, in addition to studying new skills; Develop values ​​such as effort, integration and discipline, both have been CF damm in a Spanish training football reference. The new house of cf damm

The growth of the CF damm created, in January 2021, the Damm Foundation announced the construction of new sports facilities in the land of Montjuïc’s old golf. Today, that idea is a fact: since July 2024, club players have been practicing a first environmental level, with 30,000 m² and an enviable site: at the foot of both Montjuïc mountains.

Participants of the CF Damm Campus can play at facilities that have everything to train and learn. Just look at their spaces to prove this: with two football fields, gyms, changing rooms, a restoration area and even a study room so that players who are part of the club are at their disposal of everything you need to continue their education.

With this sporting city, CF Damm has managed to gather, for the first time in its history, all its facilities in a single space, combining human sports and projects. And not only that, but the new home of the Damm Sports family is also standing for its promise of maintenance, which works as a space without CO₂ and vigorous self -ease.

A model of success

All of these novelty reflects the promise that CF Damm has maintained throughout its trajectory, promoting an ongoing impulse for training and studying and adapting to the new needs of society. 71 years ago, in 1954, that a group of damm workers decided to conclude their love of the sport creating the Damm Football Club, the source of the current Damm Foundation. Today, their original values ​​remain intact: train and teach young athletes and help them develop as soccer players and as people.

And all the values ​​will continue to be sent from generation to generation to all those who pass a club with a very special idiosyncrasy: CF Damm is a 100% formative entity, all players and players are less than 19 years old and enjoys a scholar who covers all the costs that come from sport.

As we said, many players and players who have passed by him reach professionalism: David López, Marc Casadó, María Pérez, Irina Uribe, Edu Expósito, Joan Garcia, Gerard Moreno, Mario Gila, Mika Mármol … and many more. And success is enduring years. In the last season, 26 players and 2 players from Damm joined the structure of professional teams, numbers that add 220 athletes to join teams such as FC Barcelona, ​​Real Madrid, RCD Spanish or Girona FC.

The Damm Foundation manages the club management with the aim of promoting an activity that promotes intrinsic amounts of sport and provides training to girls and boys who are part of it. In addition, it supports a variety of social and cultural interest initiatives, either by itself or third projects. Its purpose is to enhance the integral development of people and the improvement of society. And well understood, sport has an extraordinary potential to achieve it. Because, for sure, this is the combination of football values ​​and desires that have become the club.
