Subsidiary boys and youth will join a more austere Jimbee

Date:

The Cartagena club, still awaiting several sponsorships to increase the budget, is betting on Amin and Pablo Gallego to do the preseason

Youth players from Jimbee Cartagena’s subsidiary and youth are called upon to come forward, at least during the Jimbee Cartagena preseason. The melon team is seriously proposing that French winger Amín Benslama and youth captain Pablo Gallego join the first team dynamics, waiting to see if more signings finally come.

The total solvency sources consulted by LA VERDAD don’t close the door on that scenario, but they do draw a more austere economic panorama as they wait for several companies to finally bet or not renew the sponsorship deal. The team has included centers Juanan and Waltinho and has canceled Drasler’s contract. The board, led by President Miguel Ángel Jiménez Bosque, is confident that the return of the injured Juanpi will help forget the departure of Andresito, author of 12 goals, to Japan.

The club’s owner has invested more than three million euros since he took over the reins of Cartagena’s futsal. Two years ago, the Jimbo Fresh company paid out almost 800,000 euros, within a budget of 1.5 million. Last year, the peak reached about 1.8, of which about 500,000 came from the 72 sponsors, some more symbolic and others stronger.

Jimbee had to make two additional signings last year (half-back Peru and flanker Drasler) due to long-term injuries. Also the gradual increase in the salaries of players with a valid contract, such as the Brazilian Luçao. This summer, Higor’s signing could be closed, but everything was broken because the player had to undergo surgery. In any case, it could be ready before the middle of the season. That operation also closed the Fits option.

The market is still open and the club is not closed for more options. In any case, Amin and Gallego take the step. Jimbee lacks a subsidiary, has broken the agreement with Zambú Pinatar and has not crystallized that of Imperial.

Homegrown players like Guanchito have left, in this case to Melilla. The first team has under contract with goalkeepers Chemi, Raúl Jerez and Chispi, who always alternated with the subsidiary. The Brazilian Thalles, who signed for the payment of 50,000 euros in 2019 and who had a contract until 2025, was also terminated.
