His panic for strangers is very justified and has a bad background: a so -man fear dog around caused excitement in the city center of Wels on Thursday morning. When a patrol caught him, the situation escalated.
Various emergency brakes, exciting drivers and a panic dachshund that ran through the streets of the center of Wels in Upper Austria: on Thursday morning the desperate four -legged friend caused chaos. Eventually the Bello was captured by a patrol at 10.30 am, but the effort was painful. The frightened dachshund bit twice an official, injured her on the left thumb and on the right index finger. The police officer had to be treated in the hospital.
During the investigation it turned out that the Wuffi comes from Hungary and is a “fear dog”. He was set up the night before when his owner brought him to a restaurant and had broken a glass there.
But what are such “fear dogs”?
The upper Austrian dog trainer Sascha Steiner- He is known as “DogProfi”- says: “These are very heavily traumatized dogs that often end up in animal shelters. Usually they are animals that come from East or Southern Europe and are caught there with a dog loop. Because of their negative experiences they are just afraid of strangers.
“Please only with therapeutic care”
Steiner also advises to get a friend with four sucks from a kind of help syndrome. “In my experience, something like that only works if the dog immediately receives therapeutic guidance from a trained trainer.”
