Badosa made his WTA ranking podium with runaway Swiatek

The departure of Australian Ashleigh Barty and her voluntary departure from the classification allows for a new podium in the world where Polish Iga Swiatek is making her debut at the top, followed by Czech Barbora Krejcikova and Paula Badosa.

Badosa earned three positions this week to debut as a full member of the podium with 4,975 points. Swiatek has 6,711 and holds a big lead over Krejcikova (4,975). The Greek Maria Sakkari surrendered her position to Badosa and fourth.

The Russian, who appears without a flag in the classification because of fighting in the war, Aryna Sabalenka remains in fifth place, while Estonian Anett Kontaveit, Czech Karolina Pliskova took a place be sixth and seventh, respectively.

American Danielle Collins took three positions and placed eighth and Garbiñe Muguruza remains in ninth placesuch as the Tunisian Ons Jabeur in the tenth.

In this Top10, only Spain and the Czech Republic have two representatives. The biggest increase in the new list was made by Japanese Naomi Osaka who got 42 positions to settle at 35.

For other Spanish players, Sara Sorribes lost 14th place to be 49th, while Nuria Párrizas dropped three and came out 52nd.

The first Ukrainian player in the ranking is Elina Svitolina in 27th place, after losing seven positions this week.
