FC La Unión Atlético, of the Third Federation, yesterday contested the agreement between CD Bullense and Real Murcia for the Bullas team to become a subsidiary of Grana. The Blue and White team asserts that this decision would violate Rule 108.1 of the RFEF General Regulations, which reads as follows: “Clubs may have affiliated or dependent teams in any division or category below those in which they are registered, although this right is limited to only one in each of them, so there can only be one team from the same club or a subsidiary of it.
From La Unión they understand that the development of the league would be distorted as there would be a direct confrontation between two clubs, Imperial and Bullense, under the umbrella of Real Murcia CF. They describe the agreement as “legal fraud and radically nil,” in the note signed by the mining club’s vice president, Mario Luna.
However, in the FFRM they assure that the agreement presupposes that CD Bullense becomes part of Académica Grana and not Real Murcia CF. And that’s legal.
