On Tuesday afternoon, after a German course in Vienna-Favoriten, two men (both 22) got into a heated argument that ended with a knife attack.
During the attack, one is said to have inflicted multiple stab wounds and cuts to the neck of the other. Immediately afterwards, the suspect fled, leaving the 22-year-old seriously injured. After the victim had alerted the emergency services, he was immediately taken to hospital after the first medical aid.
Suspect has been caught
The officers were able to arrest the 22-year-old who had fled his apartment a short time later. The murder weapon has also been seized. The investigation into the suspect is still ongoing.
