All presidents of IOC history: Kirsty Coventry, first woman

Kirsty Coventry, 41, became the first woman to lead the International Olympic Committee. Zimbabuense will happen to German Thomas Bach, which is thus ending with a twelve -people mandate. The Double Olympic Champion, the swimmer was selected last March in the 144th IOC session, in Costa Navarino. Coventry assumes the position after the success of the Paris Olympic Games and has a complex geopolitical situation.
