Doug Ghim signed on Friday a card of 3 bass (68) and clung to an advantage of a blow to Max Homa and a group of contests in John Deere Classic.
Homa is part of a tie volume for a second place after also signing 68 late in the afternoon. He matched Ghim with 12 bass with a birdie in Hole 17, Par 5, but after looking for a bunker in the tee of 18 he couldn’t save the pair and that -back down a blow.
Ghim, 29 years old and a native of the identine, hopes to get his first success on the PGA tour in his native state. He gets an eagle every second consecutive rotation, praying from 179 yards to par 4 of the hole 15.
After reaching 13 blows under the contest with consecutive birdies in holes 4 and 5, Ghim made Bogey in Hole 9, which closed the sun.
The sun twisted matching the Ombudsman, Davis Thompson, whose 63 blew without Bogeys Catapulted 11 under the PAR. Tied to Homa and Thompson are Brian Campbell (66), David Lipsky (67) and the Argentine Emiliano Grillo (66).
Colombian Camilo Villegas (66) and South Korean if Woo Kim (67) are part of a group under 10 at the end of the second twist on the last minute of Friday.
Rickie Fowler lost four blows in a period of four holes in the last nine, with two bogeys and a double bogey, but made a birdie in hole 17 to finish with 1-on 72 and placed with 5 under the torque. Fowler is online to pass the cut, which is expected to be at 4 under the PAR.
