The strange anniversary day Fabio Silva lived today. The Portuguese striker, in addition to blowing out 20 candles, signed a one-year renewal with Wolverhampton, until 2026, but he will not continue with the Premier League club but will play on loan until June 30, 2023 with Belgian side Anderlecht.
Fabio Silva, a Portugal U-21 international, signed for Wolves from Porto in 2020 and is still the English club’s record signing in its entire history (40 million euros).

});
Since then, Fabio Silva has played 54 Premier games and scored 4 goals, but failed to secure a starting position. At Anderlecht he hopes to get more minutes and fight for the Belgian league title.
“We’ve spoken a lot with Bruno Lage (coach) and Fabio about what we think is best for his development,” Wolves manager Scott Sellars said. “We feel that one season playing regularly would be very good for him at this point in his career.”
