The negotiating table for the new Women’s Football Collective Agreement was established this Thursday at the meeting held by the Professional League (LPFF) and representatives of the Association of Spanish Footballers (AFE) and the unions FutPro, ON Footballers, Workers’ Commissions and UGT .
The president of the League, Beatrice Alvarezand his vice president, Ruben Alcaine, participate in the meeting called by this body, which “appeals to understand and reach consensus agreements to achieve goals that will benefit clubs, players and women’s football in general”.
The LPFF reported that the purpose of the meeting was to set up the table and move towards the signing of a new document agreed upon by the parties, which will resume talks in the first half of September, at a date that has not yet been specified .
The social bank that will negotiate the renewal of the Collective Agreement for women’s football was established on January 25 with six representatives from FUTPRO, four from the Association of Spanish Soccer Players (AFE), one from ON Soccer Players, one from the UGT and one from the Workers’ Commissions, after voting in the locker rooms of the Primera Iberdrola clubs.
