An Argentine international, one step away from Celta

The Celta Vigo has reached an agreement in principle on Porto for the transfer of the Argentine goalkeeper Agustin Marchesin (34 years old), who will replace Balaídos in the absence of his compatriot Matthias Diturowho returned this summer to Catholic University from Chile after completing his loan, club sources reported.

The arrival of the Argentine international, champion of the Copa América 2021 with the albiceleste, was endorsed by the coach Edward Coudetwho are looking for an experienced goalkeeper to supply the outlets of Diture Y Ruben Blancowho will play loan to Olympic Marseille French next season.

Marchesín made a career in Mexico

Formed in the lower categories of Hurricane and after passing through Lanus, Marchesin make a career out of Mexico -Santos Laguna and América- before signing for Porto in the summer of 2019.
