Gran Canaria’s candidacy is taking steps to host the 2030 World Cup. One of the first is to find out who will be the link to the RFEF. The General Manager of UD Las Palmas, Patrick Vinyayohas prescribed work to achieve what the whole island wants before the biggest football event on the planet: “You have to work, work and work, because rarely all political colors and all administrations agree on the same promise , we have to take advantage of it”.
Finally, Jose Juan Arencibiapresident of the FIFLP, is happy to have reached a consensus and with all the work for a good cause: “The most important thing is that there is total unity in the group and what we all want to be the headquarters of the World Cup 2030. Sure I think that if in Europe they had to vote which venue they wanted out of all of them, they would vote for Gran Canaria”.
