The American Sean Crockerwith a second round of 66 shots (six under par) and an aggregate of 129 (-15), remains leading the Hero Open of golf, of the DP World Tour (formerly the European Circuit), played at the Scottish Fairmont St Andrews, with the Spaniards Adrian Otaegui two hits to the head.
Sean Crocker, 241 in the world, who is looking to start his record of victories as a professional and yesterday set a new record for the Scottish course with 63, showed a clean card with six ‘birdies’ .
One stroke away was Scottish Jamieson Scott, with a 64 to better the 66 made on day one. In shared third position, two shots behind the leader, are Spaniard Adrián Otaegui, local David Law, Swedish Jens Dantorp and English Jonathan Thomson and Ross Fisher.
Otaegui signed this Friday a 67 (an ‘eagle’, five ‘birdies’ and two ‘bogeys’), another shot from the first day.
Jorge Campillo, also a Spaniard, moved up because of his fine 65 on Friday, with eight birdies and two bogeys. His total of 132 (-12) puts him three behind the leader.
