Ang Club Jarama-RACE hosts the presentation of the first edition of Madrid Ladies Open Communitya test belonging to Ladies European Tour hoping to evolve to become one of the references of this circuit. Jarama-RACE Golf Club will host this event from May 5 to 8.
Carmelo Sanz (RACE) stressed that “this event will continue to write the history of a club that over 50 years ago became one of the pioneers of golf in Madrid and in Spain. For RACE, it is a pride to host a global event of this magnitude, with this particularity being the first time this field has organized a global women’s event. I am convinced that our route, designed by Javier Arana and highly technical, will be a real challenge for the best players in Europe. Our maintenance team has been doing this for almost two months ”.
Jaime Salaverri (RFEG) stressed that “at the same time there are now four women’s professional golf tournaments being held in Spain and included in the newly extended calendar of about 30 Ladies European Tour events. I encourage everyone to come and watch it because the show is guaranteed ”.
In celebration of the Community of Madrid Ladies Open, the first tournament of the Ladies European Tour season to be played in the land of Europe after its tour in Africa, the Middle East, Asia and Australia, the nine -year golf absence will come to an end female professional in Madrid.
