Fatal accident Tuesday morning in the Tyrolean lowlands: A 49-year-old resident fell from a slope with a tractor while working wood and suffered serious injuries.
The accident happened around 9.15 am in Fieberbrunn (Kitzbühel district). According to police, the 49-year-old was working on woodwork when the tractor suddenly fell about 10 meters from a 50-degree slope and came to a stop in a meadow.
Even emergency services warned
The local was able to free himself from the cabin and start the rescue chain. He sustained serious injuries. After first aid at the accident site, he was taken by ambulance to the St. Johann district hospital.
In addition to rescue and emergency physicians, the police and fire brigade were also present.
