Pedro Acosta, “not fit” to reappear at Silverstone

the spanish pilot Pedro Acosta (Kalex) was declared “unfit” for British Grand Prix after the double medical check-up that took place yesterday and today at the Silverstone circuit by the Grand Prix medical team.

Acosta, who suffered a comminuted fracture of the femur in his left leg during motocross training before the Dutch Grand Prix, underwent surgery by a doctor. Ignatius Genevawhich confirmed a more complicated fracture than initially expected and although the Murcian driver arrived in Great Britain with the intention of fighting the first race after the summer tour, the doctors of the championship did not clearly see it and left the their decision for this morning, after conducting a new radiological examination.

X-rays confirmed the worst prognosis and doctors decided to give Pedro Acosta “unfit” for the British race.
