Nico’s message explaining the reasons for his departure and guaranteeing his return

Before signing his one-season loan with Valencia this Thursday, Nico Gonzaleza 20-year-old Galician midfielder, wrote a message on Instagram guaranteeing his return to Camp Nou within twelve months and explaining the reasons why he requested Xavi Hernandez to allow him to leave now to return.

Nico, who will sign his season-long loan for Valencia when he passes a medical this Thursday morning, is still pending a renewal at Barça. The Barça club and the player’s agent are still in talks to finalize the renewal of Nico’s contract, which currently ends in June 2024.
